Coffee mate to Offer Unusual But Interesting New Creamers Early 2021

Coffee mate (owned by Nestle) has a new coffee creamer flavors coming out in 2021 and these probably won’t be for everyone. They have not partnered with a candy bar or ice cream company to bring you yet another perhaps-painful-to-the-tooth sweet creamer as in the past. If you can believe it these creamers are for the folks who usually don’t take cream at all.

The new line is called “Unlocked.” The creamers in the Unlocked series will be coffee-flavored coffee creamers. But before you go Mr. Spock with logic, step back a moment and think on this: the purpose of this creamer is not to turn your black coffee into a cake or doughnut (and there isn’t a thing wrong with that if that’s what you like) but rather it is supposed to cut the bitter flavor of bad black coffee and make it taste more like a smooth, high-end brew.

Initially, Unlocked will offer two flavors. First, Classic Colombian that will have a rich, creamy flavor of rich roasted beans and bright notes of fruit. Second, Italian Espresso that is supposed to have subtle notes of chocolate, a smokey smell and a creamy texture.

Neither sound alarmingly awful and seem like they would add something to coffee for the “I’ll take it black” crowd when someone at the office makes a pot of sludge (again!).

These should starting hitting your local grocery’s shelves around January 2021.
