When you think of an English Tea, you think of tea and little delicate pastries and sandwiches served on fancy china cups and plates. What exactly is served at an authentic English Tea and how did it start? Jody‘s crew set out to find out some more information about this.
There are so many theories out there about the different types of teas. There is mention of “High Tea”, “Afternoon Tea”, “Tea meal”, “Afternoon High Tea”, etc. Over the next few posts we will try to delve into the history of these teas and find the most accurate information.
We will start with how tea was introduced to England and go from there. There are myths and then there is more credible informations. We will look at several sources and go from there. Stay tuned.
